 Happy Valentines Day! We hope that you are getting to spend it with someone you love.

 What a difference a year makes! The wedding culture has been turned upside down with this crazy pandemic and so many venues shutting down, travel being so difficult, and the need for social distancing. Brides are handling this in many different ways, and I have to say that I am so proud of the wedding that my nephew Andrew and his bride Alex had right before Christmas - I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was in Arizona at the Ocotillo Oasis by Wedgewood Weddings. It was a small group, the ceremony was at sunset outside and we had a great time.

I'm going to write more about the experience later, but congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Davis!

My niece got married last weekend, and this Lifestylist was tasked with keeping the bridesmaids fed and hydrated before the special moment. We took that on with gusto, but also wanted to create a special memory that this beautiful bride and her new husband could look back on forever.


We are madly in love with the Boisset Collection and their memorable products, especially their wines.

A year ago I was fortunate enough to be at the opening of the One World Observatory in New York City, and it was interesting how many couple were there celebrating their weddings that were also taking place on this momentous day.

This couple was one of my favorites - full of excitement and hope for their lives together. On their anniversary hoping that life is everything they dreamed of and more.

We can't think of a prettier place for a wedding than the Finger Lakes in New York State. The views are spectacular and there is so many things for your guests to do. You can tour over 100 wineries, there are waterfalls, historic destinations, the NY Wine and Culinary Center... something for everyone all year long.

We've been adding some new pins to our Pinterest board - there are lots of people starting to plan their big day so we wanted to get some great new ideas out there. What are your favorites?

I'm in Florida this week and there was a wedding on the beach at the Postcard Inn - one of my favorite hotels on the Gulf Coast. Lots of great ideas and inspirations to share later, but for now you just have to be envious of this spectacular sunset at the end of the ceremony.

This weekend was my daughter's anniversary. It seems like it was just yesterday when I was helping her plan her wedding, and now she has two fantastic kids and a great life - congrats you two!

Weddings are such a personal, special experience - each one is different and creates a lifetime of memories for the bride and her family.

I was just going through the photos of my Son's wedding and I love everything they did - I wouldn't change a thing. Hoping that your wedding memories are as wonderful as these are.
